This deceptive hole in the wall Chinese barbecue place is our go to, for roasted duck. I Have had better only in Thailand or Hong Kong, but for Orange County area? This place is hard to beat. Always grab extra duck juice/drippings for topping over steamed rice. When I get cravings of roasted 5 spice Chinese duck this is the place. Remember this is not a sit down restaurant... it's a hot and run, cook your own rice, waiting at home place.

Lien Hoa BBQ Deli is my go-to spot for Chinese BBQ. While some items like chicken feet, pig's feet, and liver are a bit beyond my taste, I absolutely love their char siu pork, roast duck, and Peking duck. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is quite knowledgeable about their offerings. It's a great place to stick with the classics!

Love love the shoulder portion of the pig! Ordered this for my sisters dam hoi, when we crave it, atleast every other month, family parties, pretty everything lol definitely our go to place and we refuse to go elsewhere! That's how much we highly recommend. It is cash only. But sooo yummy! Talking about it makes me want it, maybe I'll stop by tomorrow lol

Good duck quality and flavor. Efficient service. Typical take out great for weekday dinners when there's no time to cook a whole meal.

My dad wanted some peiking duck and roast pork, so we stopped by to get some to go. We ended up impulsively buying other stuff too (chili oil pig ears, pork feet, and marinated duck wings). They did a good job marinating and roasting the meats. Everything was flavorful and reasonably priced (compared to San Diego). The staff were quick and friendly. I would recommend this place and come here again.

Ordered carry out roasted duck and soy sauce chicken. Pretty solid duck. The chicken was a little dry and I prefer the skin to have a little more soy sauce flavor. -cash only

The old Chinese bbq deli places used to be reluctant to let you order just the rib belly portion. Well no more! This deli's menu is set up so you can order exactly that coveted part of the roast pig. The pork skin here is crispy like a hefty kettle chip, not hard to eat. The pork is well seasoned and has a tender texture and is well lubricated with porky goodness. What an improvement from the olden days. The roast duck was chopped into huge pieces but otherwise tasty and juicy. And the staff are happy to speak English with you to boot even when all take-out business is brisk. Will be back!
